Find out which Schema-compatible headset is the right fit for you and your team.

Introduction to headsets

Scale-types

True to scale vs miniaturized viewing

Mixed reality does not support true 'to scale' viewing of buildings. If your work-flow requires that you view buildings in real scale, we strongly recommend buying a virtual reality headset like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. All virtual reality headsets support true to-scale viewing as well as third person viewing (miniaturized model viewing).

Multi-headset support

Cross collaboration

Do you have a different headset from your client or co-worker? Don't sweat it: Schema is cross platform, which means you don't need the same headset to collaborate on the same drawings.

Controllers

Drawing

Each headset manufacturer supplies a custom 'controller' or drawing interface for their headset. All of these interfaces may take some time to learn how to use. Please see the individual headset breakdowns below for more information.

Here is a list of the individual headsets Schema supports, including their strengths, weaknesses, and other important information that can help you decide which headset is right for your workflow.
